Margaret (Peggy) Woods, 64, passed away Wednesday. She was born in Mishawaka IN, but grew up and lived most of her life in Syracuse. Peggy dedicated her life to helping others both professionally as a counselor and as an active member of the community. Her selflessness, uplifting spirit and most generous heart touched the lives of so many – family, friends, anyone who needed a helping hand. She gave everyone who knew her endless amounts of laughter, joy and love. Words cannot describe how much she will be missed.
Surviving are her husband of 33 years Bill Woods, daughter Jessica (Peter Cooper) Woods; sisters Mary Grublauskas, Kathy (Kyle) Dolbear, Lisa Boljonis, Joanna (John) Blaisdell; brothers Steven (Miki) Boljonis, Thomas Boljonis, David (Rachele) Boljonis; mother Alice Boljonis; and many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Monday from 4-7pm at the R.H. Schepp & Son Minoa Chapel, 6530 Schepp’s Corners Rd. Minoa. A funeral service will be held Tuesday at 10am at the Funeral home.
