Obituary for Steven Earl Billington

Steven Earl Billington, 51, of Chittenango, passed away after a brief illness. A 1984 graduate of East Syracuse-Minoa High School, he was a proud employee of Syracuse University and an avid sports fan. He was a communicant of St. Patrick’s Church in Chittenango, member of the Pleasant Lake Association and loved the outdoors. A devoted husband and father, he was a quiet humble man with a great big smile who touched the lives of so many.

He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Lisa DeRoberts Billington; children, Stephen E. and Lauren E.; father, Frank; brother and sister Jeffrey and Amy Billington; and many extended family and friends. He was predeceased by his mother, Joan Billington.

Family and friends may call from 4:00 to 7:00 pm Wednesday at Eaton-Tubbs Fayetteville Chapel, 7191 E. Genesee St., Fayetteville. The funeral Mass will be 10:00 am Thursday at St. Patrick’s Church, 1341 Murray Dr., Chittenango.
