Obituary for Eunice Henson

Eunice Henson, 88, of Minoa, passed away Thursday after a brief illness. She was a resident of Sunnyside Adult Home for the past year and a half.

She was predeceased by her husband of 55 years, John H. Henson, Jr. in 2006; as well as 3 brothers; and 2 sisters.

She is survived by 5 daughters, Chris (Dick) Gerber of Kirkville, Sharon Rhoades of East Syracuse, Jane (Ross) Mangicaro of New Port Richey, FL, Kath (Jim) Tragakis of Springfield, VA and Margie (Greg) Wild of Spring Hill, TN; a son, Rob (Patty) Henson of Fremont; a sister, Janice Berube; 13 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends may call from 4:00 to 7:00 pm Monday, July 31st at R.H. Schepp & Son Minoa Chapel, 6530 Schepp’s Corners Rd., Minoa. The funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, August 1st at St. Mary’s Church, 401 N. Main St., Minoa. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Minoa.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Francis House, 108 Michaels Ave., Syracuse, NY 13208
