Obituary for Marjorie I. Crate

Marjorie Irene Crate, 72, former longtime resident of Fayetteville, passed away May 20th in Kennesaw, GA after a brief illness. She was born in Malone and graduated from Franklin Academy. She was a longtime member of the Sidney Boat Club in Sylvan Beach..
Surviving are her husband of 52 years, William Crate; son, William (Mary Elizabeth) Crate of Ruskin, FL; daughter, Terri (Richard) Luce of Chittenango; sister, Sally Bruse of Vernon Center; five grandchildren, Billy, Jeffrey and Erin Crate, Kristen (Gerald) Fluno and Jeremy Luce; and four great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her parents, Maynard S. and Marguerite M. Harwood; and brother, Calvin Harwood.
Services will be 10 am Wednesday at Eaton-Tubbs Fayetteville Chapel. Burial will be in Fayetteville Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 6-8 pm Tuesday at the funeral home, 7191 E. Genesee St., Fayetteville.
