Obituary for Mary Louise Dowling

Mary Louise Dowling, 83, of West Hartford, CT passed away Friday at Francis House of Syracuse, NY. She was born in New London, CT, the daughter of John and Rose Dowling. Mary graduated from Marymount College in Tarrytown, NY. She worked in advertising with Aetna for 37 years. Mary was a communicant of St. Peter Claver in West Hartford, CT.
Mary is survived by several cousins in the Syracuse, NY and Pennsylvania areas. She was predeceased by her brother John Dowling in 1972.
A funeral Mass will be held Friday at St. Peter Claver Church, West Hartford, CT at 9 a.m. Calling hours will be Friday before the Mass at the Church from 8 a.m. until 9 a.m. Burial will follow at Gates of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence, RI.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Francis House, 108 Michaels Avenue, Syracuse, NY 13208 or Upstate Medical University Foundation to Benefit Cancer Research, 750 East Adams Street CAB 326, Syracuse, NY 13210.
