Obituary for Jane Curtis

Jane Curtis, 88, of Kirkville, went home to the Lord on Wednesday with her family by her side. She was born in Buffalo, NY on October 24, 1927. Jane was a loving mother and friend to all. Her family was her world. She was involved in her church and always giving of herself. She was an amazing cook passing on her culinary talent to her family. Jane enjoyed gardening always tending to her flowers. She was predeceased by her husband Phillip H. as well as her siblings, Jack, Robert, Margie and Lillian.
Survivors: Her son, Phillip (Karen) of Minoa; three daughters, Laurie (Brian) Ware, Bonnie (Dale) Baker of Binghamton and Heather Curtis of Colorado; sister, Carol Thompson; six grandchildren, P.J. (Erin), Beth (Michael), Andy (Jennifer), Kelly, Chad (Jessica), and Brandon (Jennifer); seven great-grandchildren, A.J., Connor, Cooper, Caleb, Stella, Jace, Penny and soon to be Miles as well as several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may call from 10:00 am to noon on Wednesday, December 2 at R. H. Schepp & Son Minoa Chapel, 6530 Schepp’s Corners Road, Minoa. A memorial service will follow at noon at the funeral home.
Contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to Minoa First United Methodist Church, 250 East Avenue, Minoa, New York 13116.
