Obituary for Helen E. Haight

Helen Emily Rosenberger Haight, 89, went to be with the Lord on May 27 at St. Joseph’s Hospital. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and a friend to many. Helen was born in Syracuse and graduated from Solvay High School. She was a graduate of Crouse Irving Hospital School of Nursing, working in obstetrics and a member of the Army Nurse Corps during WWII.
Helen enjoyed gardening, swimming, knitting, sewing, spending time at Snowbird Lake and participating in her Bible Study.
She is predeceased by her son Stephen. She is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, Harold Haight; her three daughters, Lori (Keith) Mann, Suzanne Haight and Karen (Ronald) St. Pierre; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A service will be held Wednesday, July 20 at 3:00 pm at Eaton-Tubbs Fayetteville Chapel, 7191 E. Genesee St., Fayetteville.
