The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Robert Skopek can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence From: Herman Schlimmer
Condolence: So sorry to hear of the passing of Mr. Skopek. My scout leader in the 60's, he was a big infulence on my life and the lives of many boy scouts in Troop 152 in Fayetteville. He remained a life long friend of my parents, enjoying visits and canoe/kayak paddles with my dad. He will be missed.

Condolence: I knew Mr. Skopek from Boy Scouts / Troop 152 and have only fond memories of that time in my life. Such a strong troop we had due to the leadership offered by Mr. Skopek and several others. I went on to become Eagle Scout and proudly included that on every resume I had to write, including ones later in my life. The scouting experience was very meaningful to me and I use this space here to acknowledge Mr. Skopek's role in this. My deepest sympathies to the family.

Condolence: Mr. Skopek was one of the great leaders of Troop 152 during the 60's! I loved his sense of humor and his commitment to helping us out when we needed it, even if we didn't think we needed it. Along with the other troop leaders, Mr. Skopek was one of the most influential adults in my younger years and I remain extremely grateful to him.
