Laurance H.  Baker
Laurance H. Baker, 80 , of Erieville, passed away Wednesday morning, June 22, 2016.
Born in Syracuse on November 8, 1935 he was the son of Lawrence and Gertrude Baker. Larry was a graduate of Eastwood High School. He worked in the construction industry for several years, and enjoyed the Grand Ole Opry, Turner Classic Movies and being outside.
He is predeceased by his parents, wife Mary Louise Baker, and his siblings. Larry is survived by three sons, John L., Michael J. and Peter A. Baker; daughter, Laurie Smith;
eight grandchildren, Aricca Baker, Billy (Meghan) Smith, Bryan (Bridgette) Smith, Paul Baker, Autum Baker, Stephanie Smith, Kimberly Smith and Hanna Baker; four great grandchildren, Noah, Ryker, Maisen, and Jameson; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Family and friends may call Sunday, June 26 from 2 to 4 pm at the R.H. Schepp & Son Minoa Chapel, 6530 Schepp’s Corner Road, Minoa. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, June 27 at 9:30am at St. Mary’s Church, Minoa. Interment will be made in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Minoa.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 11454, Alexandria VA 22312.
