Obituary for Robert J. Byrne

Robert J. Byrne, 78, formerly of Syracuse died June 22 in Waukegan, IL. He attended St. Anthony of Padua School, graduated from St. John’s Prep School in Danvers, MA and went on to received a bachelor and master degrees. Bob served in the Army from 1959-1962. He was the owner of Byrne Business Consulting. Bob was active in political affairs.
He is survived by his brother and sisters, Edward (Barbara) of Utica, Kathleen (Bill) Nelson of North Carolina and Patricia Field of Fayetteville; and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass will be offered at Noon on Wednesday at Immaculate Conception Church, 400 Salt Springs St., Fayetteville. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery in DeWitt.
Contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
